The 2022 season is now just around the corner, some matches kicking off in a matter of days, and our Waikato Referees will have a new look in 2022. Keeping with the same green we have become accustomed to over recent seasons, our referees have a new style jersey with new sponsors on board for 2022 and beyond.

The regular plan design has been moved on from 2021 with a new, exciting and fresh honeycomb design coming in for 2022. Along with the new red, yellow & black warm-up tees our referees will be looking very slick.

Regular and proud supporter of Waikato Rugby Referees is Grassroots Trust and they remain as main logo on the front panel of the referee jersey. Kukri remain a key partner and supplier of our kit. Optimo Laundry Products, which have being on board with the referees since 2018 and previously just on the AR flags, now come onto the left sleeve. During the off-season Waikato referees acquired two new sponsors – Podium Lodge & Warner Fencing & Gates. Podium Lodge is now pride of place on the back of the jerseys, while Warner Fencing & Gates are on the lower back of the referees warm-up and 7s tops.
