Waikato has maintained their unbeaten record for the 2009 Air New Zealand Cup against thw Welington Lions tonight at Waikato Stadium.

The Mooloo men  came out hard and fast with prop Latu Talakai scoring his first Waikato try within the first few minutes of the game. This was complimented by a second try from fullback Sosene Anesi both of which were sucessfully converted by Callum Bruce.

Waikato will take on the North Harbour at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton on Thursday 1 October.  Tickets for this match, (kick off 7.35pm) are on sale now via www.mooloo.co.nz  and the usual ticketing outlets.
