Approximately 10,000 tickets will go on public sale on Monday 10 August for the All Blacks v Springboks Investec Tri-Nations Test to be played at Waikato Stadium in Hamilton on Saturday 12 September.
There are approximately 5000 seats available in a number of uncovered areas at Waikato Stadium including the Brian Perry Stand, WEL Networks Stand and the temporary stand. There are also approximately 5000 tickets available in Greenzone which is the standing room-only area.
Prices range from $40 to $85.
From 9.00am Monday morning tickets will go on sale via www.mooloo.co.nz, Gate One Waikato Stadium and 0800-466-665 (option 3), and the usual Ticketek outlets listed on the Waikato website.
Waikato Rugby Union Sales Manager John Mudford said: "buying tickets via the internet is certainly the preferred, and often the quickest, option for people to purchase seats for this historic test match."
Waikato Stadium has its capacity boosted to 31,500 for this match due to the installment of a temporary stand at the Tristram St end of the ground. Construction of this stand begins on Thursday 20 August.
In the past fortnight Season Members and the rugby public, including rugby clubs, have had the opportunity to buy extra tickets before the public sale date.
"The response from our Season Members and rugby public to this preferential buying opportunity was positive," said Mudford.
The preferential buying period finished at midnight Friday.
Covered seats were unavailable to purchase with the majority allocated to the NZRU for their requirements. Other seats were taken up due to the hospitality packages on sale with this game.
"This match is an NZRU fixture hosted by the Waikato Rugby Union, therefore the NZRU's seating requirements were a priority. However, as promised all 2009 Season Members who purchased their season-long seats in covered or uncovered areas, secured their seats for this match."
Mudford added that there are still some covered seat options available which are combined within hospitality packages are still on sale via the Waikato Rugby Union. Check out www.mooloo.co.nz for further information.
