Nathan White Announced as WRU Board Member

In a bid to enhance the relationship between the Union and the players, the Waikato Rugby Union has recently appointed a current player and ITM Cup Waikato team Captain, Nathan White to a position on the Board of Directors for the Waikato Rugby Union.
Waikato Rugby Union's CEO, Graham Bowen said "in the current rugby environment there needs to be a good understanding between the players and the Provincial Union with matters such as financial performance and governance of running a Provincial Union. Likewise, for the Union, to better understand the needs and welfare of the modern semi-professional rugby player".
"This is an innovative move by the WRU to achieve these goals".
Waikato ITM Cup team Captain, Nathan White commented "I thought it would be a good opportunity to get involved with the organisation to add in the player's perspective and to know where the organisation is heading in the future".
