Mooloo Men to Take on Harbour
Waikato coach Chris Gibbes announced his side for the sixth game of the ITM Cup season today, with some surprise returns to the team.
"We are pretty happy with how the team went on Saturday and putting the bonus point on the table".
"The areas of our game that we have focused on this week are our defense around the fringes and our execution in phase plays on attack", said Gibbes.
The forward pack remains the same again this week with the return of Ben May onto the bench after ongoing issues with his back.
In the Waikato backline, Vice Captain Brendon Leonard returns to the number nine jersey with the rest of the starting backline remaining the same as the previous week.
Richard Kahui returns to the squad after sustaining an injury to his shoulder while playing for the All Blacks, during the Tri-Nations Cup, earlier this year.
"It's great having Richard back in the side and great to see him in the Waikato colours. He's excited by his opportunity this week to get back on the park." commented Gibbes.
