Mooloo's Beat Auckland in Last Play of the Game

Waikato were the first team to put points on the board with Trent Renata converting an Auckland penalty 2minutes into the game with Auckland retaliating to make it 3-3.
Trent went onto convert his second penalty from 41metres out to put us in the lead 6-3.
Exceptional defence by our front rowers Toby Smith, Aled de Malmanche and Captain Nathan White paid off when a try was saved however Auckland first five-eighth came back and converted another penalty to again even the score 6-6.
Dwayne Sweeney took off up the paddock and offloaded to fullback Sosene Anesi who scored around the back of the posts and Trent Renata converted the try to put us ahead 13-6 25minutes into the game.
Auckland retaliated with a converted try to again even the score as the boys ran in for half time, 13-13.
Auckland came out of the sheds and scored 5minutes into the second half to take the lead, 18-13.
An offside call by referee Vinny Munro gave Trent Renata his third penalty conversion of the day making the score 16-18.
The full time hooter had gone and in the last play of the game the ball was sent out wide by replacement halfback Tawera Kerr-Barlow, feed through the backline and Dwayne Sweeney flew over the try line to win us the game, 21-18.
Outstanding performances by Aled de Malmanche, Brendon Leonard, Toby Smith, Dwayne Sweeney, Henry Speight and Nathan White.
