Late Changes to Waikato and North Harbour Teams

Waikato has made changes to its reserves bench for this Thursday night's game against North Harbour.
Locks Kent Fife and Romana Graham will not play due to minor groin strains, so Jordan Smiler will cover lock on the bench, with specialist openside flanker Matt Blain named at number 19 to offer cover in the reserves.
The amended Waikato reserves line up is:
16. Ole Avei 17. Latu Talakai 18. Jordan Smiler 19. Matt Blain 20. David Bason 21. Roimata Hansell-Pune 22. Henry Speight.
North Harbour also made late changes due to one of their players being suspended at the judicial late yesterday.
Hayden Abercrombie replaces Andrew Mailei at number 12, and Nafi Tuitavake replaces Abercrombie at number 22.
Curtain Raiser Match Moved
Due to the wet weather, the curtain raiser match between the Waikato Development team and the North Harbour Development team will now be played at Fred Jones Park behind Waikato Stadium at 5.00pm on Thursday 1 October.
Originally, this match was going to be played on the number one field at Waikato Stadium.
Gates will still open at 5.00pm in lead up to the Waikato v North Harbour Air New Zealand Cup game tomorrow night. Kick off is 7.35pm.
