Currently Brendon is unavailable for the Waikato squad due to his commitments with the All Blacks squad currently competing in the Investec Tri Nations Series.
Brendon is a class halfback known for his sniping runs and speed. Born and bred in Matamata he made his debut for the Mooloos back in 2005. He has rugby in the blood with his father Ron Leonard playing 20 games for Waikato from 1973-80.
