Autographed Material
We have many supporters keen to have various items autographed by the Waikato players throughout the season.
The Waikato Rugby Union are happy to support schools, community groups and sports teams who want items autographed by our team. It is a positive way in which we can support our region.
It is important our supporters understand the Waikato Rugby Union's policy on autographed material. We have listed below key points outlining this policy for your information:
- Throughout the playing season, a regular autograph session is arranged in-house where players will sign appropriate items that the above groups have sent into the Waikato Rugby Union. We aim to have these items signed and returned as soon as possible.
- Appropriate items to be signed may include t-shirts, caps, balls featuring logos of the school, community group or sports team. The Waikato Rugby Union can supply posters for autographing if required.
- Any other items that do not feature the logos of the school, community group or sports team, must instead feature one of the Waikato's official sponsors. That is: Kukri clothing (Waikato Rugby Union's official apparel), Webb Ellis rugby balls, and other official Waikato Rugby Union merchandise. Click here to see what's available on our on-line shop.
- The Waikato Rugby Union will turn down a request for a Waikato jersey to be fully autographed by all the players as these are only available to our official charity Rainbow Place – who are allowed to on-sell or auction this – and to our sponsors.
- The Waikato Rugby Union will not arrange signing for individuals as they can take advantage of the many autographing opportunities at regular team open practices, on game days, and/or other public promotions where Waikato players are present.
